Fishing on the Wild & Scenic Rogue River

The Federal Government designated 34 miles of the Rogue River as "Wild & Scenic" under the Wild and Scenic Rivers Act of 1968. This action protected the river's pristine canyons by limiting the number of visitors each season. To experience a Fishing Adventure though this section of the river is one of the hidden treasures of Southern Oregon. The river has the perfect blend of long stretches of calm water that funnel into narrow rocky channels full of, exciting whitewater.
Enjoy the abundance of wildlife and breathe taking scenery while fishing from a “McKenzie style” drift boat. At the finish of each day you will arrive at the rustic luxuries of a wilderness river lodge. The lodges are all unique and rich in history and folk lore of the Rogue River canyon. The main feature they have in common is that they all offer; private cabins, hot showers, heaters, delicious meals and a soft comfortable bed.
